In “Daddy Knows”, Metatheodosia presents a phone call to her father, where the line between truth and performance, live and pre-recorded is blurred. A taste of Greek reality, familiar to many Greeks as the unspoken reality of family surrealism, ranging from nonsensical to self-contradicting to truly insane.

Alex Dimitriou, aka Alex Tsoli, aka Xlorini Ksyneks, aka Metatheodosia is a curator and a performer who operates between Berlin and Athens. They have been based in Berlin for the past 10 years, but have also been returning to Athens more and more lately, organising festivals or performing in various functions. They co-curated the LGBTQI Outview Film Festival in 2016, Gender Fest in 2017 and have been in the organising team of DIY performance festival Sound Acts in 2015 and 2017. They usually perform under the pseudonym Metatheodosia and earlier as META in queer band Ta Troktika (The Rodents). In Berlin they work as a translator and subtitlist and work in film productions and film festivals, among them the Berlinale and the Porn Film Festival Berlin.
